I give a discount to artists who want their work framed. I also offer the service of cutting mounts for prints with back board, wrapped in cellophane for display in a browser for exhibitions.
Unusual Framing
I have done all sorts of design and making projects over the last 40+ years, and I like a challenge, so as well as offering the usual services of a picture framer I am very interested in working with artists and collectors to create appropriate frames and ways of presenting the unusual. I have a machine for making mounts with circular or oval apertures. I can also make plinths and stands for sculptures.

Stretching huge canvasses back on to their frames (4000mm x 2000mm).
A box frame lined with black velvet for a desiccated bird.
Framing medals and trophies.
Double sided free standing frames (2000mm x 1000mm).
Maps for an exhibition with pins and strings to explain the story.
Repair of damaged gilt frames.
Stretching of textiles for framing.
Framing signed sports shirts.
Display of African spear heads.
Display case with glass shelves and LED lights for a collection of glass paperweights.
Plinths for displaying sculptures.
Making bespoke picture mouldings for an exhibition.

And can cut down old frames to reuse them.
Data Transfer
I am also an agent for an excellent company that transfers all types of old media formats (slides, cine films, VHS, camcorder tape, cassette tapes etc) to digital formats (DVD, USB and audio CD)
